NT202: Gospel of Luke
This course studies the third gospel in some detail, taking note of the unique understanding that Luke gives to the story of Jesus. Through a close reading of selected passages such as the birth narratives, parables, miracles, and other episodes of particular importance, Luke’s special style and contribution is highlighted. Attention is also given to Luke’s portrayal of Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection.
